Anyone remember the old style 'bone containers'? Not the mage and rogue bone containers we have now... I mean the old ones that spawned in the graveyards. There were like 7 or 8 different bone designs and they were quite popular, at least on Great Lakes, a long time ago. I don't have pics... but does anyone know what I am talking about? And are they still available somewhere in the files?

I know exactly what you are talking about. They were really cool in your house as a container. If you like creepy stuff lol. Dian has mentioned them in the past and said he may bring them back. I will talk with him and see if he has done anything with it :)

Maybe? I cannot download there either.

I found a pic online. There were 9 of them. Although most are just just mirror images of the another... They were daily rares, I think. fullsetbones.jpg

Okay. The code just needed formatting a bit, I didnt change anything otherwise. It seems these are what you are looking for, and also have a property to allow them to be dyed with a dye tub, if you set to true. It is false by default.

The image taken from the RunUO thread..

Sweet. I will load these up and take a look at them. I was hoping the graphics were still around...

    ~Edit~
Yep! Those are exactly what I meant. I don't know why I always liked em so much, but I used to collect whole sets to sell. :)

I was about to mention, but wasnt certain and hadnt checked.. but there is already BoneContainer existing in the JustUO package, so you will need to remame the first item. I would suggest renaming it to DyableBoneContainer.

I did not read this in time ha ha... but no issues... it loaded and worked fine. It spawns a random container (I could not see in the script how...) It took a bit but I did get all 9 to spawn. Now my house is full of extra containers... had to spawn about 20 to get 1 full set :)

Someone actually found something of mine useful? Thank you Dian for making sure it worked.

Sareus said that I may be able to work some magic here. :Woot:

Tukaram the dye flag is something I always thought would be cool on bone containers. I made the graphic random because the take/use/keep-able ones would be random patterns depending on what the server spawned at that time.

I am in ITIL Foundations class this week, but after I can make individual ones... Or if JustUO lets me I can change the constructor, I can try to let you specify the bones you want.

If you guys want me to work on it let me know.

These are great just like they are :)

They used to spawn random designs on OSI too. I just always liked them. Glad to have them back.

For work I have been studying for the CISSP https://www.isc2.org/cissp-how-to-certify.aspx, so I have been AFK for a long time.

Randomly I had a moment of... Hey will that work?...
    about this post.

If it is a namespace collision I can add a
    [TypeAlias( "Server.Items.BoneContainer" )]
Type thing (not this verbatim) to the code to keep them from colliding.

Just a random thought. Was this added to the Script Repo?
If not, I can look at it once life gets less CISSP-like.

For the ability to spawn the bone containers of a certain type you could make an enum holding a descriptive name, set them to the itemid value. When no argument is supplied you select one randomly from it, else you the arg.
