    Hi everyone,

I've been working with CentreD+ for some time now and LOVE IT, most playing around but ultimately working towards a playable map. I made my basemap in Dragon and have been building and tweaking it in CentreD+.

I keep reading about this "tilebrush" feature. I imagine it's a tool that allows you to paint in terrain and it handles the transitions for you automatically. Am I dreaming? Am I missing something? Is this possible? At the moment I am putting in terrain tile by tile, transitions/edges tile by tile, then finessing the altitude for a realistic effect. Is this the way? The only way? Am I doing this right or wasting a tremendous amount of time?

Please let me know your experiences! I attached a little example of what I'm working on.. :)

    Best,
    Owen

    Hi m309,
I have been pointed here before. I'm wondering, how do I get Centred to recognize the Tilebrush, and where do I find this tool in the program.
Also, has anyone completed the config file to drop in?
    Best,
    Owen

Static has shown me this photo before, but I don't know how to access it:

    My screen looks like this:

And for the record, everytime I click on a menu item in that list, I get an error:

    Any ideas?

You need to setup the .xml files named TileBrushes first with the tilebrushes you want, it doesn't come pre-populated. Once you enter all the brushes you want in the xml, you then add those entries to the TilesGroup.xml file. After that, they show up in the list which you have in your image.

Again, they will NOT be there by default. You have to create the brushes yourself.

Okay, I'll give it a shot and see what I come up with. Fingers crossed! Thank you for the direction.

Sure thing. Definitely read the tutorial though, it's very helpful. Once you enter a couple it gets easier.
